Good Ol' Texas
A few weeks ago I spent a weekend in Wichita Falls, Texas to visit family. It was a refreshing break from the chilliness and bustle of Chicago. For a hot minute I actually considered how my life would be if I lived in a small town with vast fields, aging buildings and sunsets that seemed to kiss the town with a new charm every evening.
Lately, I have been obsessed with cactus. I was ecstatic when I came across cactus sporadically across town.
During one of our last days in Texas, we came across an abandoned diner. It had a lot of character and details that left the impression that it once was a great place to unite with friends. As we were walking around the vacant venue we noticed a small squirrel had found a new home!
