A few weeks ago I spent a weekend in Wichita Falls, Texas to visit family. It was a refreshing break from the chilliness and bustle of Chicago. For a hot minute I actually considered how my life would be if I lived in a small town with vast fields, aging buildings and sunsets that seemed to kiss the town with a new charm every evening.

Being up to date with trends can be overwhelming and make a serious dent in your wallet. However, its good to determine which trends are worth investing and which are worth buying at a steal with fast fashion brands. One good suede piece is on my must have list for spring (and maybe even fall) because it can add a subtle touch of texture and or color to a look, while still feeling classic.

The beauty of the arrival of spring is the uplifting spirit it encourages, like a bolt of energy. It seems like all of our wishful thinking dreamt during our winter hibernation can be finally put into action. These past couple of months I've been working on a project with a group of friends and I am excited to see it finally coming into full bloom (cheesy, I know). With that being said, this upcoming month will be packed to launch the project (for real this time) which inspired the poster above. I feel like I am constantly putting things on hold. However, now there are no more excuses. I hope this poster works as a motivator and reminder that although we might not be at the exact place we want to be, we are getting closer by getting 'shit done.'
